Church lawsuit alleging oil company fueled Sudan genocide

I came across this AP story today and wanted to link to it so that it doesn't get lost in the shuffle of news. The US and Canadian governments tried to get it dismissed. The lawsuit alleges that Talisman Energy, a Canadian company, was in cahoots with the Sudanese government to talk about ways to "remove" people who were in the way of where it wanted to drill for oil One of those ways was ethnic cleansing, rape, kidnapping. So far most of the spin on the Sudan genocides has been religious or tribal or involving low-level greed and grasping for power. This is a whole new level.
